The role of the Scrum Master is a key position in our team, responsible for enhancing team performance and delivering value to customers.
As a servant leader, you will use effective communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills to improve Vodafone Business Channels for customers.
Your primary goals are to deliver value and minimize unnecessary work, making you an essential part of our team's success.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style, leading by example whenever possible.
* Remove impediments or guide the team to remove them, finding the right personnel to do so.
* Support and coach the Product Owner, refining and maintaining the product backlog according to priorities and goals.
* Perform measurements and analyze metrics with the team, proposing performance improvements.
* Guide the team on maximizing self-organization benefits.
* Facilitate getting work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Good analytical and critical thinking with problem-solving and root cause analysis drive.
* At least three years of experience playing the Scrum Master role in a product/software development team that diligently applies Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
* Soft skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, coaching, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
* Experience with OKRs, especially if played OKRs Champion role.
* Experience with Design Thinking.
* Experience with Lean Portfolio Management.
* Knowledge or participation in Scaled Agile initiatives (SAFe or LeSS).
* Experience working in a cross-teams environment and different cultures.
* First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, SAFe Scrum Master).
* Scrum and Kanban knowledge and practice.
* SAFE RTE Certification.
* CSPO or Professional Scrum Product Owner certification.
* KMP I, KMP II certification.
