Responsibilities
* Manage the accounting and financial reporting for the entity in Portugal
* Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
* Guarantee the monthly accounting and reporting, treasury management, credit control, inventory management, forecasts and fiscal responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements
* Collaborate with management, accountants, auditors and vendors to ensure seamless financial processes
* Provide financial support to other companies in the Colorifix Group
* Provide financial insights to support long-term business strategies
* Prepare budgets segregated by processes and departments
* Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the financial integrity of the organization.
* Support various HR tasks
* Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
* Previous relevant working experience (4+ years) within financial accounting and/or reporting
* Strong expertise in Management Accounting and Corporate Finance
* Deep knowledge of Accounting principles and standards
* Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is preferred
* Microsoft Excel proficient
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Fluent in English and Portuguese (both oral and written) - mandatory
* Applicants must have a valid work visa for Portugal
