Cisco IoT

Cisco's Internet of Things (IoT) has achieved remarkable momentum, driven by expanding market presence, targeted sales strategies, and heightened awareness of our comprehensive IoT portfolio. To accelerate this growth, we seek a motivated and methodical professional to join our Global IoT Sales organization. The ideal candidate demonstrates enthusiasm, results focus, and versatility to thrive in our dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

1. Serve as an Outbound Sales Business Development Manager for the IoT Global Sales organization, reporting to the Leader of Global IoT Sales Business Development.
2. Establish first connections with new Industrial IoT customers in the EMEA market, generating pipeline growth and revenue through innovative digital sales approaches in the industrial IoT sector.
3. Create IoT opportunities across strategic vertical markets, analyze enterprise organizations, craft tailored value propositions, and design outbound campaigns to engage decision-makers.
4. Engage with operations personnel and executive leadership, qualifying opportunities and articulating the value of Cisco's IoT portfolio.
5. Maintain an active pipeline, identify potential customers through research, and run outbound campaigns using email automation tools.
6. Schedule and conduct introductory calls and webinars, communicate Cisco IoT's value, and nurture customer relationships.
7. Track all activities in CRM, define ideal customer profiles, and develop cross-selling/up-selling opportunities.

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with the Growth and Digital Sales (GDS) Team, IoT regional sales teams, routes to market, business units, marketing, events, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

- BS/BA in business, marketing, finance, or engineering.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in sales, sales development, or business development.
- Fluent in English.

Additional Preferences

- Familiarity with Cisco tools and products.
- Experience in industrial networking/IIoT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce CRM.
