The Head of IT Analytics will be responsible for leading the analytics function within the IT department. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive analytics strategy, managing a team of data professionals, and collaborating with various departments to drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Your day at Ferring
1. Develop and execute a strategic vision for IT analytics in alignment with company goals.
2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts, data engineer, and BI professionals.
3. Align the needs across functional area to maximize value of the global platform and avoid duplication of effort.
4. Collaborate with IT and business leaders to identify key analytics needs and opportunities.
5. Design and implement data analytics solutions to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
6. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics initiatives.
7. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and IT.
8. Drive implementation of data governance framework for his area
9. Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
11. Support new AI initiatives.
Behind our innovation…There's you
12. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
13. Minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
14. Proven experience in managing and leading a high-performing analytics team.
15. Strong understanding of data management, data governance, and data quality principles.
16. Experience of modern data stack architecture and technologies.
17. Proficiency with analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, etc.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
19. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
20. Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks and PowerBI is a plus.
21. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
