Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our IT department. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Manage the SLA agreed between departments ensuring consistent performance and functionality of systems.
• Oversee IT personnel on-site, providing objectives and results, and conducting regular individual reviews.
• Develop and track budgets for IT projects and services, authorizing related purchases.
• Ensure the permanent availability of systems, guaranteeing proper functioning, and coordinating daily exploitation tasks.
• Collaborate with regional managers to:
• Collect and follow up on requirements requested by departments.
• Ensure ownership of systems by users including training procedure creation and application.
• Provide 1st & 2nd level functional & technical support for critical applications and IT incidents reported by users.
• Implement group standards especially concerning hardware software security policy software licenses control inventory etc..
• Manage site contracts and relationships with external suppliers maintenance services etc..
• Define and apply IT procedures including a Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery Plan.
• Implement new projects for local applications and infrastructures.
• Deliver regular reports to regional managers.
Requirements
• Degree in management with specialization in Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT Management preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of when to escalate issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
• Good understanding of interest in shop floor systems sequencing traceability etc..
• Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems Win7 Win10 Server etc..
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products and Office.
• Familiarity with software and hardware of PCs and network servers.
• Cisco Networking experience and/or training an asset.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate.
• Fluent in English.
