Job Overview
* We are seeking a skilled Gastronomy Ambassador to welcome and assist guests with special gastronomic requests, ensuring a memorable experience across all outlets.
* This role involves personalizing guest experiences, managing reservations for all resort outlets, and coordinating requests with chefs, sommeliers, and front-of-house staff.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, discretion, empathy, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to anticipate guest needs.
* In addition to these essential qualities, a strong background in luxury hospitality, concierge, or front office roles, combined with fluency in English and at least one additional language, is highly desirable.
About the Role
1. Key Responsibilities:
* Welcome and assist guests with special gastronomic requests (diets, food restrictions, allergies, cultural/religious preferences).
* Personalize guest experiences across all outlets.
* Manage reservations for all resort outlets, as well as for gastronomic events.
* Presentation of the resorts dining options to create memorable experiences.
* Convert guests without prior dining plans into frequent culinary clients.
* Ensure internal coordination with all outlets.
* Act as a liaison between the guest, the kitchen, and the F&B service team.
* Coordinate requests with chefs, sommeliers, and front-of-house staff.
* Ensure accurate communication of dietary requirements to all relevant departments.
* Organize personalized gastronomic events (workshops, masterclasses, themed dinners).
* Provide hosting support during events and in outlets.
* Manage daily and weekly reports.
* Record guest preferences and gastronomic history.
* Provide reports on frequent requests and emerging trends.
* Support the development of new culinary products/services aligned with guest profiles.
Requirements
* Education: Hospitality, Gastronomy.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year in luxury hospitality, concierge, or front office roles.
* Languages: Fluency in English + at least one additional language (preferably French, German, or Spanish).
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of technology, international gastronomy, and dietary science. Protocol, etiquette, and personalized service techniques. Management of gastronomic reservations and events.
* Personality Traits: Discretion, empathy, and attention to detail. Ability to anticipate guest needs.
* Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
