Your mission, roles and responsibilities
The intern will support the Industrial Program team in all activities related to the industrialization and production launch of new programs.
The goal is to acquire hands-on experience in manufacturing project management, production system development, and cross-functional coordination within an industrial environment
The main mission of the role is:
• Creation of new products in SAP and coordination of their setup and readiness with all involved departments.
Additional Missions (depending on project needs):
The intern may also support the Industrial Program Leader in the following activities:
Project & Team Support
1. Support the IPL in coordinating work package tasks and ensure their accomplishment;
2. Assist in supporting technical interface with the customer and the suppliers;
3. According to the PMS, define and transfer the program information to the required plant launch team (workload, competencies and profiles) and coordinate its activities, Act as the interface between the Program Manufacturing Leader and the plant;
Product interface (manufacturability)
4. Support manufacturability checks and product reviews
5. Assist in updating and following engineering changes related to product or process
Production System Development
6. Assist in preparing production system documents (layouts, process flow charts, material and information flow diagram in accordance with the Group standards and program objectives)
7. Make or buy:
- Help preparing the "make" input of the MOB matrix for all remaining components (including subcontracting)
- Help evaluating at plant locations subcontracting possibilities
Production launch
8. Support in the Production Part Approval Process in the plant (including Mass Production Trial and Extended Mass Production Trial)
9. Support the production launch in the plant
10. Support the Production Ramp-up
Targets and reporting
11. Help monitor program KPIs (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance)
12. Contribute to tracking risks, actions, and improvement opportunities.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Degree in engineering, preferably
Skills and competencies:
13. Knowledge in program finance (costing, P&L, investments)
14. Knowledge in Excel, CAD
15. Good level in written and oral English & Portuguese
16. Time management and organized
