Role The Project Manager is part of the Global Betting Platform team and is responsible for delivery planning of product and technology initiatives, based on input from the Programme Manager and product stakeholders.
The successful candidate will provide expertise in the use of Agile methodologies that Scrum teams adopt.
The role will identify risk mitigation strategies and proactively surface internal and external dependencies.
What you'll be doing Delivery planning and reporting across initiatives within one of the GbpEvolutioN value streams.Plan, execute, and deliver projects of moderate complexity within defined scope, budget, and timeline.Support senior leadership in defining project deliverables and objectives.Input into overall prioritization exercises, help communicate agreed priorities, ensure they are respected, and drive actions towards enabling them.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.Communicate project updates, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.Facilitate technology input into investment requests with supervision from the Programme Manager in drafting business cases.Effective internal and external dependency management for roadmap initiatives that is reported into Programme Management.Work together with the delivery teams on resource allocation, planning, and driving efficiencies with Agile Scrum practices.Provide a clear view on the ongoing budget for the initiatives in the programme of work.Coordinate technical due diligence with new suppliers and clearly articulate the commercial input.Work in a fast-paced environment with technical and commercial teams, focused on achieving desired outcomes.Generate reports from Agile tooling that advise on the effectiveness of delivery streams and resolve challenges in adopting Scrum practices.Coach and mentor delivery teams in the use of Scrum methodology.What You'll Bring 3+ years of experience in project management roles.Proven track record in the software delivery lifecycle, adopting Agile Scrum methodology.Ability to plan against technical outcomes aligned with the target architecture for the gbp evo tribe's business objectives.Experience managing projects end-to-end, from concept to benefits realization.Strong ability to demonstrate business goals and influence teams to achieve outcomes.Pro-active work ethic with results-driven approach and ability to meet challenging deadlines.Experience managing customer engagements to completion and satisfaction.Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical challenges clearly.Strong stakeholder relationship building based on respect, openness, and transparency.Ability to promote change and continuous improvement.Work at pace with a collaborative approach, demonstrating urgency and drive.Experience coaching teams in Agile Scrum practices.Experience implementing third-party products and platforms.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Commercial awareness with a record of delivering projects on time and within budget.Product implementation experience on software delivery projects.Comfortable in high-pressure environments with changing priorities.Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and techniques.Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Degree in business, science, or technology-related field.We'd Like You To Master In Building Support: Establishing trusted relationships with stakeholders and promoting technology strategy.Objective: Providing unbiased input and fostering collaborative decision-making.Collaboration: Working effectively with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.Adaptability: Managing change and new requirements effectively.Strategic Thinking: Analyzing patterns and leveraging strategies for competitive advantage.Communication: Proactive, clear, and constructive stakeholder communication.Agile Scrum: Coaching teams to optimize delivery and generating effectiveness reports.Equal opportunities At Blip, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
