Since ****, we have built a long, trustful relationship with our customers OUR SITE : Our four technical centers in France, Romania, Germany, and Slovakia employ 300 people dedicated to research, development, and trials for all units in the plastics and leather division.
The teams of these four sites are complemented by functions hosted at our production sites.
The Portuguese site was built in Viana Do Castelo and began production in ****.
It specializes in the production of medium and large-sized injection-molded plastic parts, mainly door panels and IP components for motor vehicles.
Its main customer is Stellantis.
With a turnover of 76 million euros in ****, the site employs 400 people and is exemplary in terms of safety.
MAIN MISSION : Under the hierarchical responsability of the Process Director, you will manage teams and oversee activities dedicated to the development of plastic injection molds, from design to molds tunings on the production site.
You will ensure the efficiency, reliability, profitability, and compliance of the tools with applicable norms and standards.
ACTIVITIES : · Supervise teams involved in mold development · Develop detailed project plans (scheduling, resources, objectives) · Provide expertise in the design and optimization of plastic injection molds · Work closely with the product design, production, and quality teams · Monitor and control mold development costs, ensuring they remain within budget · Identify and implement continuous improvement actions and process optimization measures · Determine and monitor deadlines for the production or modification of tools · Train and provide technical support to teams · Monitor technological developments in the field of plastic injection molding · Lead feedback meetings (RETEX) To carry out your mission, you will be supported by a team of 34 employees, including three middle managers who oversee mold development, trials and the mechanical workshop.
You will lead and develop your team through the various processes of the Branch (recruitment, skills development, communication, annual evaluation, objectives setting, etc.).
Regular travel to our sites (factories and technical centers) is expected.
PROFILE : With a higher technical education specializing in plastics engineering, you have at least 10 years' experience in the development of plastic injection molds.
You are able to supervise work carried out using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, MOLDFLOW) and have in-depth knowledge of plastic materials and their behavior during the injection process.
You also have solid experience in industrial project management, from planning to cost and deadline optimization
