This Business Area leads the industry in offering fully-integrated solutions for optimizing complex internal and external logistics processes. Under a common roof, the companies of this Business Area provide solutions in warehouse and conveying technology, palletization plants, software, logistics network controls, and system integration.
Main Responsibilities
* You will be responsible as a technical lead engineer for SPS SW Engineering and commissioning for cross-belt sorters and other products on international projects.
* You will develop project-specific SW functions based on an existing SW library and will be responsible for SW implementation and commissioning.
* You will ensure the integration of PLC Standard Modules and the use of the engineering tool chain in the project.
* In close contact with our development department, you will contribute to the further development of project planning processes and the SW Library.
* During the design phase of a project, you will describe planned software functionality and coordinate interfaces with third parties.
* You will be responsible for implementing software engineering within the planned cost, quality, and schedule framework and support the bid manager during calculation.
* You will be responsible for commissioning at the customer's site in accordance with our standards, through integration and customer acceptance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Key Requirements
* You have trained as a master electrical engineer or have successfully completed a master's degree in electrical engineering and automation.
* You have many years of experience in professional team leadership in PLC project engineering and commissioning for automation systems, as well as in programming with TIA and failsafe applications.
* You have several years of experience in technological logistics systems or alternative automation systems from industry.
* You have experience in commissioning and very good knowledge of SIMATIC HW product range SPS S7-TIA.
* You are proficient in common bus systems such as Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS-I Bus, CAN Bus.
* We require very good English and German skills as well as intercultural competence and the ability to work in a team for this position.
* A willingness to travel to our projects of about 30-40% is no problem for you.
