Offshore Automation Engineer Role
As an Offshore Automation Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy. Your responsibilities include commissioning complex automation and IT solutions for Command & Control systems, Power Management Systems, HVAC, and auxiliary systems on offshore HVDC platforms. These platforms are developed through international collaborations and deployed globally at sea.
Key Responsibilities
* You will conduct thorough commissioning at our shipyard partner and offshore construction sites, ensuring that the systems operate safely and reliably.
* As part of the commissioning process, you will optimize systems and interfaces while assisting in troubleshooting efforts.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing essential support and guidance throughout their experience.
* Advise client operating personnel and offer consulting support for performance enhancements.
* Play a key role in preparing commissioning documentation and representing the company during performance verifications and acceptances with clients.
* Ensure safe working conditions by acting as an electrical specialist (EFK) after ECC issuance.
