As a Senior Frontend React Developer (all genders), you will create responsive and accessible interfaces using structured, standards-compliant HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), and JavaScript. You’ll work closely with UX designers, visual designers, developers, and project managers to build frontends for various clients in both the public and private sectors. To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be based in Portugal.
Responsibilities
* Join an interdisciplinary team developing frontends using frameworks such as React and Vue.js.
* Ensure code quality, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
* Work on agile projects alongside backend developers, project managers and clients.
* Support the analysis of requirements, write specifications and assess technical feasibility.
* Contribute to the evolution of existing architectures.
* Provide advice to clients and colleagues, analyse and optimise existing processes.
Qualifications
* A completed degree or comparable education.
* Passion for creative solutions and coding in agile environments.
* Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS) and ES6.
* Several years' experience with React or Next.js (or similar frameworks, such as Vue.js).
* Several years' experience with React Native.
* Experience with React UI frameworks such as Material UI or Mantine.
* Familiarity with libraries such as React Router, Redux Toolkit, React Query or Zod.
* Strong grasp of Clean Code principles.
* Knowledge of Atomic Design and BEM.
* Experience with testing frameworks.
* Ideally, experience in requirements analysis and writing specifications.
* You are a team player who enjoys close collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent English skills; German would be a plus.
