Overview
Network Security Engineer role at Dellent. Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help candidates and consultants advance in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations.
This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, with its technological hub in Porto and a focus on developing innovative solutions and supporting operations related to the business. This position is for Porto (Hybrid).
Responsibilities
* Apply network security engineering practices to design, implement, and manage security controls across enterprise networks.
* Collaborate with IT and operations teams to support production environments, including handling requests, incidents, changes, and documentation.
* Develop and manage security rules in firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet).
* Monitor and respond to security events and maintain secure configurations in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
* At least 9 years of experience with network segmentation technologies on traditional firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
* Experience coding security rules in Firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
* Experience in an IT production environment (management of requests, incidents, changes, documentation, etc.).
* Good level of English - minimum B2 (mandatory).
* Ability to keep up with a demanding and fast-paced environment; willingness to learn and evolve; good communication skills; ability to work in a team.
