Project Manager About Ovyo: Ovyo is an professional services company specializing in the satellite, telecommunications, media, and broadcasting, transportation and many more sectors. Our management team is located in the UK and Portugal and we have technical teams based across other European countries and India.
We are currently actively looking for a number of Project Managers to join our teams in Lisbon.
Location: Lisbon
Setup: Hybrid
Duration: 6-8 months
Responsibilities: Define project objectives, scope, budgets, and detailed plans.Manage schedules, resources, and stakeholder communication.Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Lead IT projects (e.g., OutSystems, Appian, APIs) using methodologies like Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban.Prepare reports, maintain records, and conduct post-project analyses for continuous improvement. Requirements: 6+ years of project management experience, with 4+ years in technology projects.Banking sector experience (preferred).Expertise in MS Project, Jira, and project methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban).Strong skills in budgeting, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management.Experience with complex IT projects (OutSystems, Appian, APIs a plus).Degree in Engineering or Management.Fluent in Portuguese and English.Leadership to inspire and motivate teams.Clear, effective communication with diverse stakeholders.Problem-solving, adaptability, and top-notch organizational skills.
