Fixed Assets Specialist Position

Key Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain capital investments projects and their budgets;
* Maintain the fixed asset system for accounting, processing, and reporting of assets;
* Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals in the accounting system;
* Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed;
* Generate monthly depreciation postings, review, and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation;
* Support the transfer of AUC balances to the Fixed Assets sub-ledger through close coordination with local business;
* Monitor and report monthly capital expenditure to managers;
* Produce monthly and annual Fixed Assets account reports to the business;
* Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management/business;
* Assist the business on periodic physical counts of fixed assets;
* Monthly reconciliation of the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger;
* Perform quarterly account reconciliations on Blackline to ensure accuracy and compliance of reported Fixed Asset balances;
* Assist in financial audit (internal/external) and tax filing activities;
* Manage internal queries;
* Regular control of work output quality;
* Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures;
* Identify process harmonization and improvement opportunities;
Requirements:
* Accountancy qualification;
* Strong command of verbal and written English;
