Job Description
As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in crafting solutions for a high-profile video gaming client. You will use your experience with Agile methodologies and your deep understanding of the SDLC to ensure constant progress and alignment.
Responsibilities:
* Mentor the team as an Agile advocate and continuous improvement processes
* Manage conflicts and impediments if/as they arise and coach the team on managing them
* Ensure all stakeholders are up to date on the team's progress and deliverables status by maintaining an open and honest communications
* Provide clear reports with different specifications for different audiences
* Leverage your prior technical/coding experience to triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities
* Own and supervise the product backlog, story writing, project roadmap and dependencies
* Translate the product features into well-defined product requirements including features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
* Work with development teams, software architects and business stakeholders to collaborate, set and communicate release schedules, dates and scope
* Ensuring your team's delivery against the agreed plan
* Influencing the product vision definition and break it into smaller and incremental deliverables
* Assist in the identification of market opportunities
* Planning and executing the end-to-end product development lifecycle
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* 10+ years of enterprise experience supporting Agile development teams in the role of Product Manager, Delivery Manager or Engineering Manager
* Ideal previous experience on Retail or similar industry
* Ability to coordinate schedules across multiple time zones
* Effective communication skills
* Proven track record of management skills in areas such as conflict resolution, multi-reporting, roadmap planning and backlog management
* A software engineering background with the ability to comfortably speak in technical jargon
* Proven ability to analyse product use cases and requirements from all points of the SDLC, including the architecture, development, testing, and deployment phases
