Business Analyst (Contract) – Remote (Portugal) We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to join a global logistics organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fully remote role based in Portugal, working with international teams on large-scale operational and technology initiatives within the logistics and supply chain sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working in fast-paced, complex environments and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across operations, technology, and product teams Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional specifications Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery of requirements Support process analysis and improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain workflows Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect management Create and maintain documentation, business cases, and solution proposals Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams Required Skills & Experience Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical documentation Strong process modelling and analytical skills Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Fluent English Desirable Experience Experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments Exposure to global or multi-regional organisations Knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN) Experience supporting digital transformation or operational improvement projects Contract Details Location: Remote (Portugal-based candidates preferred) Contract Length: 6 months Start: ASAP Type: Contractor / Freelance
