Join MIA-Portugal: a world-class Institute for ageing research
The Multidisciplinary Institute of Ageing (MIA-Portugal) invites outstanding national and international scientists to join our growing institute at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. We are seeking highly qualified researchers with strong scientific track records and a demonstrated ability to secure competitive funding—either planning to apply for such funding with our support or seeking to transfer existing funding to our institute.
Permanent appointments are available for candidates who obtain prestigious international funding, such as European Research Council (ERC) awards.
We accept expressions of interest for the following career stages:
* Assistant Researcher (up to 7 years post-PhD)
* Principal Investigator (up to 12 years post-PhD)
* Coordinator of Research/Professor (>12 years post-PhD)
We also invite fully funded senior scientists to establish a research group at MIA-Portugal for a defined period, through visiting, sabbatical, or secondment arrangements.
