We are seeking a seasoned Automation Professional to join our Industrial Automation team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
About the Job
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver superior customer satisfaction by achieving the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex automation equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Ability to deliver remote and face-to-face support & services effectively.
* Implement small to large automation projects autonomously or integrated in a project team.
* Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues, and input accurately and within service level agreement timing.
* Maintain proactive and timely communications, providing frequent and informative customer updates.
* Initiate engineering change requests providing detailed descriptions of product faults, customer special requests, and product enhancements.
* Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3-5 years of experience in Automation Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, etc) engineering, operations, or services support functions within the industrial automation industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical education background in electronics/electromechanics/industrial automation.
* Good written and verbal skills in English and Portuguese.
* Driving license.
* Availability to travel in the country and abroad.
