Full Stack Engineer (Frontend-Leaning) – React & Java (B2B Contract)
Location: Portugal (Remote within Portugal)
Contract: 12 months (with strong chance of extension)
Engagement: B2B / Contractor
Rate: €280–€300 per day

We're hiring two Full Stack Engineers for a long-term consultancy project with a large, international technology-driven organisation. The client operates multiple business-critical platforms and is scaling several projects, requiring engineers who are strongly frontend-focused but comfortable contributing on the backend.
The role is approximately 70% frontend / 30% backend, making it ideal for engineers who lean more towards frontend development but still enjoy working across the full stack.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain modern, responsive user interfaces
Work primarily on frontend features using React and Next.Js
Contribute to backend services using Java and Spring Boot
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams
Work across multiple projects depending on priorities
Ensure high code quality, performance, and scalability

Requirements
Strong experience as a Full Stack or Frontend-leaning Engineer

Experience working in a B2B / contract environment
Must be based in Portugal
Fluent English (spoken and written)
