About the Role
This internship offers a unique opportunity to support the design, planning, and delivery of corporate events. As an Event Project Management Intern, you will play a vital role in the Operations Team, working closely with experienced professionals to bring events to life.
You will assist in logistics, planning, budgeting, and execution, gaining valuable skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving. This is an excellent chance to develop your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
* Support event management by assisting in logistics, planning, budgeting, and execution
* Contribute to the creative process by supporting presentation development, project narratives, and storytelling tools
* Assist in preparing detailed budgets, managing cost control spreadsheets, and optimizing project profitability
* Collaborate with suppliers and venues to request proposals, compare options, and follow up on deliverables
* Prepare operational documents such as production schedules, run-of-shows, and staffing plans
* Participate in internal project meetings and client calls, contributing actively with insights and updates
* Support on-site event delivery, implementing and troubleshooting event operations
* Contribute to post-event debriefs, reports, and internal learnings

* Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional knowledge of foreign languages is desirable
Preferred Background
* Master's degree in Events, Tourism, Marketing, Communication, or related fields (completed or in final stage)
* IEFP internship eligibility
* Previous internship or work experience in events, hospitality, or project-based environments (preferred, not required)
* Involvement in university projects, student associations, or freelance experience is valued
