We are looking for a
Senior Data Analyst
to join the Analytics hub for one of our premier clients, a global leader in Investment Banking. This is not a role for a simple chart-builder; it is for a
Data Architect
capable of translating complex datasets into strategic leverage for global market activities.
As a Senior, you carry the responsibility for the reliability and clarity of key performance indicators. You will steer the entire analytical lifecycle: from raw SQL extraction to advanced DAX modeling and executive-level visualization for Top Management.
?? Your Mission:
Strategic Data Storytelling:
Design and maintain complex Power BI dashboards that serve as the \"Command Center\" for traders, quants, and senior leadership.
Architecture & Logic:
Build robust data models (
Star & Snowflake schemas
). You design the relationships that guarantee fluid interactivity and flawless precision.
Advanced Analytics:
Craft
sophisticated DAX measures
(Time intelligence, performance tuning) to translate market KPIs into actionable business insights.
ETL Mastery:
Utilize
Power Query (M)
for complex ETL/ELT processes, ensuring optimization (query folding) and high data quality.
Validation & Extraction:
Leverage
T-SQL
to perform deep-dive data validations. You are the guardian of integrity: if the figures diverge, you find out why.
Security & Governance:
Implement
Row Level Security (RLS)
for multi-tenant reporting and manage the full deployment pipeline (Dev/UAT/Prod).
?? Your Profile (Must-Haves):
Expertise:
5+ years of experience
in Data Analytics, with total mastery of the
Power BI
ecosystem (Desktop & Service).
The Modeler:
Expert in data modeling principles. You know exactly when to use a calculated table versus a measure to maximize performance.
Technical Skills:
DAX & M:
You speak these languages fluently and resolve complex DAX context issues with ease.
SQL:
Ability to write complex queries for data extraction and ad-hoc analysis.
Excel:
Mastery of
Power Pivot
for rapid prototyping and hand-off to business units.
Soft Skills:
A consultant mindset. You can understand a Head of Trading's pain points and translate them into a technical roadmap.
Languages:
Professional fluency in
English
is mandatory.
Bonus Points:
Knowledge of
Python or R
for custom visuals or machine learning, and foundations in Power BI Administration (Capacities & Workspaces).
