We are looking for a Controller to support and assist the Vice‐President & Chief Financial Officer in designing and developing enterprise‐wide data analysis and reporting solutions for our eastern Canadian operations. What's the challenge? Manage operational efficiency analyses to identify opportunities to streamline business functions Support in preparation of analysis and evaluation for new products and business segments Support in Operating Expenses Analysis, Budgeting, variance analysis and financial planning Support the evaluation of current and future financial conditions of the company Validation of the Monthly Reports produced by head office to identify variances Compile Targets annual review cycles by collecting and preparation of financial vision. Prepare non‐financial vision by reviewing annual cycle targets to prepare and supports the management of the annual Strategic Planning process Use financial and non‐financial information to prepare Presentations for the Monthly BU Management Team Meetings and Segment Board Meetings Supporting initiatives as part of internal quality or compliance efforts Act as a strategic financial partner to the CEO, VP & CFO and regional business leaders. Support special projects such as pricing analysis, investment evaluation, or ERP/reporting system improvements. Collaborate on financial modeling for equipment purchases, inventory optimization and rental fleet KPIs What do we expect from you? Bachelor Degree in Management/Business Administration/Commerce; Three years of experience in Business/Project analysis/Management Consulting; Prior controller job experience or similar role; Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Strong research, organisation and prioritisation skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships; Availability for national and international travel.
