The People & Culture IT Solutions department supports Scania by providing comprehensive IT solutions that cover the entire lifecycle, from requirement analysis to implementation and production.
Scania's business is constantly evolving, and we are on a journey to phase out outdated applications and implement modern technologies. We are replacing local solutions with a global approach and a more consistent application landscape.
Globalization, digitalization, and mobility are key trends affecting our business environment. We are transitioning towards SAP SuccessFactors, SaaS (Software as a service), and AWS (Amazon Web Services) in our IT landscape.
Responsibilities
* Acting on the P&C Tech Roadmap to drive the organization closer to a unified P&C IT landscape
* Establishing architectural guidelines for the P&C area and promoting industry standards and best practices within the organization
* Documenting architecture and IT landscape according to Enterprise Guardrails and modeling standards
* Contributing actively to the Architect team and the P&C Architecture forum
* Working on assigned deliveries, planning, and prioritizing tasks
* Communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations globally
* Coordinating activities related to business units globally that have changed or decommissioned systems in their local HR environment
* Providing hands-on problem-solving support when needed
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience as a solution architect
* Experience working with HR/People & Culture domain systems
* Experience with agile methods and tools
* Experience in functional and technical design and information modeling
* Knowledge of software development life cycle and methodologies
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
* Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset
* Experience leading technical projects
* Previous experience working in a global context
* SAP SuccessFactors knowledge
* Strong communication and analytical skills
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
