Business Analyst (Contract) – Remote (Portugal)We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to join a global logistics organisation on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a fully remote role based in Portugal, working with international teams on large-scale operational and technology initiatives within the logistics and supply chain sector.This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working in fast-paced, complex environments and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across operations, technology, and product teamsFacilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessionsTranslate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional specificationsWork closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery of requirementsSupport process analysis and improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain workflowsAssist with UAT planning, execution, and defect managementCreate and maintain documentation, business cases, and solution proposalsAct as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teamsRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience working as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environmentsStrong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder managementExperience working in Agile and/or Scrum environmentsAbility to translate business requirements into clear technical documentationStrong process modelling and analytical skillsExperience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration platformsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsFluent EnglishDesirable ExperienceExperience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environmentsExposure to global or multi-regional organisationsKnowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN)Experience supporting digital transformation or operational improvement projectsContract DetailsLocation: Remote (Portugal-based candidates preferred)Contract Length: 6 monthsStart: ASAPType: Contractor / Freelance
