About the Role:
You will join a team in an Oskon.Tech partner project, taking on the role of Senior Java Developer in the Lisbon area.
Responsibilities:
* Designing and executing detailed test cases and test scenarios, ensuring adequate coverage of functional requirements.
* Collaborating with development teams and product management to identify and resolve issues.
* Using tools like Jira for bug management and task tracking.
* Performing SQL queries to validate data and support test execution.
* Ensuring software quality and reliability at different stages of development.
What We’re Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field;
* +5 years of experience in Java development (ideally Java 11 or 17);
* Experience writing complex systems and defining and implementing RESTful APIs;
* Understanding of both modern and traditional Design Patterns, with the ability to select the best solutions for our customers;
* Nice to have experience working in a CI/CD-driven project with a strong understanding of a DevOps approach to development;
* A Quality First mindset, supported by strong unit testing skills;
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
* Fluent English is mandatory.
