Job Description:
Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate Senior GL Accountant to strengthen our France-based Finance Team. This position reports hierarchically to the Shared Services Center Manager, based in Lisbon, and functionally to the accounting manager based in Antony (Paris) France.
The role is based in our Lisbon office.

Responsibilities
This pivotal role will work directly with the French entity, which is one of the company's most flourishing markets. Collaborating closely with French operations, you will support and enhance financial processes.
As a full member of the French GL accounting team, responsibilities include:
* Booking and checking all types of accounting entries within scope and the GL accounting cycles
* Management and follow-up of fixed assets and amortization
* Participating in GL analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts during monthly closings, including taxation issues
* Assisting with group reporting into Hyperion Financial Management
* Participating in statutory audits (PWC) and internal audits within scope
* Contributing to monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
* Responding to specific needs from other accounting processes (Cash Management / AP / AR)
Candidate profile
Experiences and Qualifications
We believe that you are/have:
* University degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics, or similar
* Good knowledge of Accounting, intercompany processes, Tax issues, IFRS
* Around 5 years in a similar position with group reporting experience (mandatory)
* Proficiency in French is mandatory, with good knowledge of Portuguese or English
* Experience as ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE)
* Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
* Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, international, multicultural environment
* Flexibility and autonomous work capability
* Willingness to learn and grow with the team
