Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Indirect Procurement expert. This person will serve as a Category Manager for various Indirect Procurement commodities. Specifically, we are seeking someone to handle Professional Services, Marketing & Advertisement, Car Fleet, and Corporate Services across all entities globally. The scope of commodities may evolve over time.
The Category Manager is responsible for defining the strategy for the commodity, understanding business needs, and managing procurement activities including strategy development, organizational alignment, sourcing, negotiation, contracts, supplier relationship management, operational processes, and performance management.
Responsibilities
* Lead negotiations and RFP processes from initiation to completion.
* Manage a spend portfolio of approximately $35-40M.
* Develop and implement global category strategies and contracts.
* Collaborate closely with business unit and factory leaders to align on strategy, supplier selection, change management, and sustainability initiatives.
* Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
* Manage supplier relationships proactively.
* Institutionalize the CCR strategic sourcing process, ensuring adherence and standards for supplier selection based on total cost of ownership, contracting, and negotiation strategies.
* Oversee contract management activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
* 6-8+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain leadership.
* Fluent in English.
* Experience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional global teams.
* Autonomous and self-driven.
* Proven ability to exercise independent judgment to drive strategy and results.
* Demonstrated leadership and influence skills to achieve results.
* Ability to succeed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, capable of evaluating both tangible and intangible variables.
