RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
1. Provide technical support to Guyana shore-based MOC Engineers as needed to assist in solving operational/engineering issues;
2. Attend as required HAZOP's, HAZID's, SIL reviews of Guyana Marine Units;
3. Liaise with special equipment Vendors when it comes to queries related to the MOC and Alerts/Flashes processes;
4. Collaborate with Global shore base Process Engineers as needed to assist in solving/raising operational/engineering issues and solutions;
5. Coordinate Change Management Process, including technical and risk assessments, preparation, and approvals;
6. Evaluate the functional requirements of design changes and initiate the design change process with the Guyana MOC and other relevant SBM's departments;
7. Align internal and external (i.e., client) change requests with Operations and Engineering Teams and prepare change proposals;
8. Identify required changes from Investigation Reports and support execution plans;
9. Ensure the Management of Change (MOC) tool is continuously updated and procedures are fully implemented;
10. Promote interfaces between Operations, Asset Integrity, and Engineering, whilst establishing communication links among relevant parties across the change life cycle;
11. Undertake audits on Guyana Marine Units to ensure the performance of MOC processes and Alerts systems are implemented as intended and in accordance with the relevant SBM Operations Codes of Practice;
12. Oversee the end-to-end process related to internal and external flashes/alerts applicable to Guyana Marine Units;
13. Assess applicability of alerts/flashes, track actions, present dashboards/KPIs and discuss implementation requirements with relevant Engineering, Operations and Asset Integrity teams;
14. Ensure scope-of-work availability for all applicable alerts/flashes, leading discussions with leadership, and managing the handover to in-country MOC or Project engineers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Specific skills / expertise / product:
1. University degree, BSc or MSc in Chemical or Process Engineering or other relevant engineering;
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas, of which at least 3 must be providing support for operations (onshore or offshore).
