Mobikey is seeking an experiencedAfter Sales Managerto lead and strengthen our aftersales operations inTanzania, based inDar es Salaam.
This role will oversee the full aftersales function—workshop operations, parts management, service performance, and customer experience—ensuring operational excellence, compliance with quality standards, and sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop theAftersales department, ensuring efficient day-to-day management ofworkshop operationsandtechnical teams(planning, productivity, quality, and safety).
Implement and standardize procedures, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements and internal operational standards.
Define, monitor, and report onKPIs and SLAs(manufacturer and customer-related), driving continuous improvement in performance and service delivery.
Ensure highquality standards, improving diagnostics accuracy, minimizing rework, and meeting turnaround time commitments.
Manage customer relationships, including key accounts, ensuring strongcustomer satisfaction, retention, and effective issue resolution.
Drive thecommercial performance of Aftersalesby identifying opportunities (service packages, maintenance contracts, campaigns, upselling parts/services) and building value-based proposals.
Overseeparts managementto ensure availability, stock accuracy, inventory rotation, ordering processes, and margin optimization.
Handle escalations, complaints, and critical cases with speed, accountability, and sustainable solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of business objectives.
Candidate Profile/Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experiencein aftersales management withinLCVs, heavy trucks, machinery, or agricultural equipmentenvironments.
Strong hands-on knowledge ofworkshop managementand technical operations.
Proven ability toimplement processesand manage performance throughKPIs/SLAsand quality standards.
Solidcommercial mindset, capable of growing aftersales revenue through customer management and opportunity identification.
Demonstrated experience inparts/inventory management(availability, stock control, rotation, margins).
Strong customer orientation and excellentproblem-solvingand decision-making skills.
Experience managing and developingtechnical teams.
English is mandatory;
Portuguese is a Plus
Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (or similar) is valued butnot mandatory.
