Purpose & Overall Relevance For The OrganizationThis is a key GBS Porto leadership management position for adidas. Along with his/her team, main responsibilities comprise driving across-category Tactical Procurement activity for Europe and/or North America and/or Latin America regions.Our adidas leader will be mainly responsible for the development of purchasing competences as well as for management of key stake holders and supplier relationships. He/she will systematically drive continuous improvement initiatives for tools, people and processes. Among other, this strategic player will be responsible for delivering top customer satisfaction by dependably providing savings, compliance, client support and insightful analyses of reports across procurement categories (e.g. Marketing, IT, Professional Services, Facilities). Scope comprises partnering with multinational stakeholders in different time zones as well as guiding a +10 team of experienced, diverse /multinational buyers located in our Porto (Maia) offices in Portugal.Key Responsibilities
Consistently provide hands-on coaching, training, motivation and guidance to his/her teamProactively drive productive relationships with global business partners, users and stakeholdersSupport the E2 E process improvement and manage day to day tactical buying operationsEnsure accurate and timely regular reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual)Supervise operations and delivering of SLA's and KPI'sGuarantee full process and policies compliance and improvement across the businessActively propose and implement initiatives to achieve world class performance and productivityFull driving of e-commerce, e-auctions and automation initiativesWhen managing special projects and day-to day performance, he/she will guarantee:Process documentation and work instructions are in placeEnsure proactive cooperation with local teamsOperational excellence Proven Knowledge, Skills And Abilities On
