Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Dataguard environments, as well as expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef). They will be responsible for building, managing, tuning, and migrating Oracle databases, automating database operations, and collaborating with infrastructure and cloud teams in hybrid and cloud-native environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Oracle DBA
* Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Dataguard environments
* Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
* Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (Qualys or similar)
* Understanding of database security, compliance, upgrades, and patching practices
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, Git), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
* Oracle Certified Professional certification is a plus
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

About the Role:
This role can be performed remotely or from our offices depending on preference. As an Oracle DBA at Neotalent Conclusion, you'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and modernizing Oracle database platforms. You will play a key role in driving automation, resilience, and observability while ensuring the reliability and security of systems that support critical workloads in sectors such as public transportation and energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build, manage, tune, and migrate Oracle databases (RAC, ASM, Dataguard)
* Automate database operations using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
* Manage security and vulnerability compliance with Qualys, driving proactive risk mitigation
* Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams in hybrid and cloud-native environments
* Support lifecycle management (LCM), upgrades, and patching processes in mission-critical setups
