Job Purpose
UNICEF Portugal is strengthening its Corporate Partnerships area, expanding collaboration with the private sector to create sustainable, purpose-driven partnerships that deliver measurable impact for children.
We are looking for a strategic, relationship-focused and results-driven professional who combines strategic insight, business understanding and empathy. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategic Growth
* Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities across key sectors in Portugal.
* Build a strong and diversified pipeline of potential partners, grounded in CSR, ESG and sustainability insights.
* Develop tailored partnership proposals and presentations that connect business objectives with UNICEF's mission.
* Lead negotiations and ensure partnership agreements comply with UNICEF policies and national legislation.
Partner Engagement & Relationship Management
* Strengthen and grow relationships with existing partners, ensuring delivery on commitments and continuous value creation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to design meaningful engagement opportunities, from employee participation to joint campaigns and advocacy initiatives.
* Track, evaluate and report on partnerships performance, providing actionable insights and celebrating success stories.
* Promote UNICEF's visibility and brand through co-created initiatives with partners and corporate networks.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Collaborate with CRM, Marketing and Fundraising teams to ensure strategic alignment, data integration and effective partnership engagement.
* Contribute to the overall corporate engagement strategy and annual plans.
* Ensure adherence to UNICEF's ethical, safeguarding and brand standards.
* Represent UNICEF in relevant CSR, sustainability and business forums.
* Collaborate with UNICEF's global private sector teams and peer National Committees to exchange learnings and best practices.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
* 5-10 years' experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, sales, or account management in Portugal.
* Proven ability to secure or manage high-value partnerships.
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills; confident dealing with senior executives.
* Good project management skills; comfortable with budgets and reporting.
* Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity; able to work collaboratively in a small, agile team.
* Native proficiency in Portuguese and full professional proficiency in English
Desirable
* Experience working in or with NGOs, foundations, or international organizations.
* Knowledge of Portuguese CSR networks, sustainability legislation, and corporate philanthropy culture.
* Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
* Understanding of EU/Portuguese tax incentives for corporate giving.
