Job Title
UX Design Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the UX engineering team to deliver high-quality user experiences aligned with the company’s vision and goals;
* Develop innovative mechatronics solutions for automated border control and electronic identity systems;
* Define and drive the technical roadmap for UX development, collaborating with stakeholders to align UX strategies with business objectives;
* Advocate for design consistency and usability across all products;
* Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to define requirements and deliverables;
* Ensure compliance with accessibility and industry standards and best practices in design and development;
* Make data-driven decisions.
About the ideal candidate:
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Innovation, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or Industrial Design;
* Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams in UX engineering and product development;
* Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360) and hands-on experience with rapid prototyping;
* Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and their integration into product design;
* Proven ability to translate complex design concepts into functional, scalable solutions;
* Expertise in user-centered design (UCD) methodologies and agile environments;
* Passionate about Hardware, Design, UX, and Industrial Design;
* Excellent communication skills—able to present, defend, and align design strategies with business goals;
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills across engineering, design, and research teams;
* Strategic, proactive mindset connecting design, technology, and user experience;
* Fluent in English, with advanced proficiency preferred, to work effectively in global projects.
