Senior Information Security Analyst
As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. You will work with a team to assess and mitigate security risks, develop and implement security policies and procedures, and monitor and investigate security incidents. Your expertise in information security will be crucial in ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within the organization's systems
2. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks
3. Monitor security events and investigate any potential or confirmed incidents
4. Keep abreast of emerging threats and ensure that the organization is prepared to defend against them
5. Educate employees on best practices for information security
6. Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in information security
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, or CIS Controls
4. Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
5. Knowledge of encryption methods, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems
6. Familiarity with biometric passport technology is a plus
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Location: This position is located in Braga, Portugal, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Salary: $1400 per month
