Here, prepare yourself to conquer your goals, while enjoying the journey.We are currently looking forSenior Software Engineer Tester (Backend).ResponsibilitiesCommunicating, and implementing the Test approachesUnderstand the requirements and raise valid questionsContribute to automated test frameworks to verify functional and non-functional requirementsCollaborating and integrating with team members to ensure the delivery of a product to specificationTroubleshooting, finding critical bugs or verifying reported issues and identifying their underlying causeCommunicating status information and issues to a variety of stakeholdersFollow the best practices within the teamEssentialStrong experience (2-3 yrs) of API testing, both manual and automated, developing automated acceptance tests for APIs in Java and Type Script (We are using Type Script predominantly but still have a small need for Java to maintain legacy systems until we have fully moved over to Type Script)Experience of Type ScriptExperience writing tests using BDD, Gherkin techniquesExperience of using Git Hub or a similar toolExperience of working collaboratively in Agile Scrum teamsEffort estimation, planning, prioritization, and time management on an agile teamAutomation code refactoring experienceWriting test approaches for functional testing and exploratory test charters, and communicating test outcomesCI/CD experience, deploying builds (we use AWS Code Pipeline and Github Actions, but experience of Jenkins would be useful)Experience of AWS services and AWS tools (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda, Cloud Watch, etc)Experience using Postman, Bruno, Insomnia or similar API testing toolsClear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting, documentation, etc.DesirableExperience or exposure to load testing tools - Gatling (experience of JMeter would be useful)Experience using Jira or a similar toolExperience of exploratory testing of APIsEnglish C1LocationLisbon, Braga or Coimbra, hybridWhat do we offer?An innovative and growing company, with a lot of opportunities for professional developmentRetribution according to your experience and performance.
