We are looking for a Back-End Developer willing to take on one of the greatest challenges in the automotive industry!
Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal systems and external partners (app developers, OEMs, dealerships). Develop microservices and backend systems that are scalable, secure, and cloud-native. Work with relational and non-relational databases to structure and optimize data flows across the platform. Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure data handling, especially for sensitive automotive and user data. Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively improve system speed, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, product managers, and partner success teams to deliver robust features. Support production systems through logging, monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution. Ensure compliance with Forvia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management in daily tasks. Perform other similar or related tasks as needed to help achieve team and organizational goals. Your profile and competencies to succeed Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in back-end development, ideally in a cloud-based environment. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or similar frameworks. Experience designing and building scalable APIs and backend services. Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment pipelines. Bonus: Experience with connected vehicle platforms, automotive APIs, or IoT systems. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
