Your new role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company's international expansion. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing with a strong focus on outbound acquisition. Reporting to the Global Commercial Director, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging with stakeholders across different markets, and devising strategies to achieve annual commercial targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and generating new leads across the global mobility, rental and leasing ecosystem.
Conducting outbound sales activities to convert leads into commercial opportunities.
Managing the complete deal lifecycle and consistently achieving high conversion rates.
Mapping stakeholder structures, identifying decision-makers and influencers, and defining the unique selling points of each opportunity.
Creating structured strategies to close deals and meet annual goals.
Continuously identifying areas to optimise sales processes.
Collaborating with the technical team to provide market insights and suggest enhancements to modules, functionalities or integrations.
What you'll need to succeed
3+ years of experience in outbound sales.
Strong resilience and willingness to engage directly with prospects (including phone outreach and occasional travel).
A proactive, resourceful and ownership-driven approach to managing multiple deals.
Curiosity to learn the business in depth and confidence to suggest new ideas.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work across countries and teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (Spanish or French is a plus).
Previous experience in SaaS, software, technology or the mobility/rental industry is mandatory.
Experience in a fast-growing start-up environment is beneficial but not essential.
