Senior Consultant | Technology Strategy, Transactions & IT Due Diligence Our client, a leading global professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Strategy & Transactions practice.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex M&A and investment projects, supporting clients in assessing technology environments, defining transaction strategies, identifying value creation opportunities, and evaluating IT-related risks that may impact deal outcomes.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will help organizations navigate integrations, carve-outs, operating model transformations, and technology-enabled transaction strategies across a wide range of industries.
Key Responsibilities • Support IT and operational due diligence engagements within M&A and investment transactions.
• Assess technology environments, including systems, applications, infrastructure, governance frameworks and operating models.
• Identify technology-related risks, synergies and value creation opportunities.
• Support integration and carve-out projects, helping clients define and execute transaction strategies.
• Contribute to Day 1 readiness planning and post-transaction implementation initiatives.
• Evaluate current operating models and support the design of future-state target operating models.
• Participate in strategic transformation initiatives focused on operational efficiency and business performance improvement.
• Bridge business and technology perspectives to support transaction and investment decisions.
• Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior stakeholders and investors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, technology and transaction advisory functions.
Candidate Profile • Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Management, Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Technology Consulting, IT Due Diligence, CIO Advisory, Technology Strategy, IT Audit or Transaction Advisory.
• Understanding of M&A transactions, due diligence, integration and carve-out processes.
• Experience assessing IT operating models, technology risks and organizational maturity.
• Knowledge of Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking or other continuous improvement methodologies is valued.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Experience in consulting environments is highly valued.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
