Contract Opportunity | Application Architect (AI / Python)
We're hiring an Application Architect to join a newly launched product team within a large, global organisation, building modern, AI-driven applications from the ground up.
This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll set technical direction, design scalable systems, and lead development across AI-enabled services.
What you'll be doing:
• Defining application and cloud architecture
• Designing API-first, microservices-based systems
• Leading Python backend development
• Working on AI / agent-based solutions (LangChain, LangGraph, Llama, etc.)
• Collaborating with engineering leadership in the UK (Scotland)
Tech stack highlights:
* Python | REST APIs
* Azure (Azure AI Studio, Azure services)
* AI / agent frameworks
* Docker, Terraform
* PostgreSQL, data platforms
Ideal background:
• 4–7+ years as a Senior Engineer / Tech Lead / Architect
• Strong modern architecture experience
• Comfortable owning technical decisions and guiding others
This is a high-impact role on a greenfield product where your architectural decisions will shape the platform.
