A Events Specialist Executive will be responsible for promoting, selling, planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, engaging stakeholders, and achieving business objectives. This role requires proactive sales, creativity, strong organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to event management.
What will I be doing?
As an Events Specialist Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities by promoting, selling, planning, coordinating, and executing events, engaging stakeholders, and achieving business objectives. Specifically, you will:
* Contribute to the commercial success of the hotel, mainly focusing on Courtyard and Novo Mundo, through reactive (50%) and proactive (50%) selling.
* Create and implement effective sales plans and strategies aligned with company goals.
* Identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
* Actively seek lead generation opportunities.
* Handle incoming inquiries to meet targets and maximize Food & Drinks opportunities.
* Coordinate all event logistics, including vendor negotiations, contracts, catering, equipment rentals, and on-site setup.
* Manage event promotions, including digital campaigns, email invitations, and printed materials.
* Build strong relationships with clients and agents to understand needs and generate leads.
* Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
* Represent the hotel professionally in appearance and manner towards customers and partners.
* Ensure guest and customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing excellent service according to established standards.
