As a Development Center at Bontaz Portugal, we are pioneers in engineering and technology, continuously pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation.
The main responsibilities include:
* Managing the development of systems or subsystems from project initiation to SOP;
* Considering specifications and deploying the corresponding design;
* Ensuring milestone adherence by implementing necessary activities;
* Producing product and process FMEAs;
* Creating DVPs and conducting related tests;
* Collaborating with technical experts or seeking external expertise for design support;
* Advancing topics within scope to milestones;
* Consolidating all technical data in PLM at each milestone;
* Participating in prototype manufacturing;
* Monitoring objectives and KPIs related to Quality, Technical, Cost, and Time;
* Occasionally conducting tests to gather feedback on prototype components' use and technical performance.
The Development Engineer (M/F/D) plans, organizes, and coordinates the development of a family of parts integrated into a system, ensuring compliance with technical, quality, cost, and deadline criteria.
Perfil
Candidates should have experience in design development, preferably in the automotive sector. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, and knowledge of French is desirable.
