What do you need to be SMART ?
* +3 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
* Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages
* Ability to write tests in Java programming language
* Experience with web application testing and Continuous Integration processes.
* Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python).
* Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
* Fluent English
* French language
* Bonus: Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes.
* Bonus: ISTQB is a plus.
* Functional Knowledge
* • Knowledge of financial instruments (stocks,bonds, financial derivatives, options, etf, etc)
* Good understanding of settlement and clearing activity (pre-trade, on-exchange, otc)
* Good understanding of settlement and clearing ecosystem (CCP, CSD, Clearer, Broker, Custodian, Asset Manager, etc)
* Notions of settlement cycle (match, affirm, settle, deliver, etc)
* Notions of counterparty risk management methodologies
* ISO15022/20022 SWIFT
What will your role be at SMART?
* Design and build automation test frameworks
* Automate existing tests and write new ones according to the company standards
* Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
* Bug verification and tracking and fixing
* Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting
* Defect management lifecycle exposure (using Jira) from defect to reporting
* Track and publish the status or development, maintenance and execution of automation test suits
* Work with manual testers, developers and business analysts to understand the business domain, and the system functionality
* Utilize the approved test automation frameworks to develop automation in a fast paced agile environment
