POSITION SUMMARY The overall responsibility for this role will be to materialize the product design by designing a feasible product and seeking the excellence in mechanical requirements. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design products using CAD ensuring that is feasible, Calculate structural analysis, Issue detailed design drawings using CAD software, Coordinate with development teams the products components lay‐out, Modify and revise designs to correct operating weaknesses and to reduce production times, Define on the drawings the critical dimensions that must be controlled in inspection activities, Seek mechanical suppliers and lead their validation as a i-charging supplier, Follow‐up prototyping and refine mechanical design accordingly. INTERACTIONS & INTERFACES Internally will interact with development teams, Externally will interact with suppliers, Reports to Mechanical Development Coordinator. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Experience in Solidworks (preferred), Knowledge of 3D CAD Design Software & PDM Systems, In‐depth knowledge on forming and molding processes, Spatial and visual awareness, Proficiency in English is a must (at least B2 – spoken and written), Excellent attention to detail, High degree of initiative with a strong sense of accountability, Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationship, Meticulous and diligent, Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in Mechanical Design roles (preferred).
