A Banqueting Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Conference and Banqueting operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while ensuring department targets are met.
What will I be doing? As a Banqueting Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of Conference and Banqueting operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
You will also be required to set budgets and provide leadership to the team to ensure targets are met.
Specifically, your responsibilities include:
Oversee and manage all Banqueting operationsBe present at events and ensure all setups are executed in a timely mannerMaintain exceptional levels of customer serviceEnsure compliance with brand standardsEvaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvementStay aware of trends and propose ideas to enhance the range and quality of Conference and Banquet servicesOptimize sales and control costs, identifying areas for improvementSet achievable budgets and other short- and long-term goalsProvide effective leadership to the Banqueting team to meet and exceed targets, supporting both hotel success and individual developmentConduct communication meetings and generate post-meeting minutesManage staff performance issues in line with company policies and proceduresRecruit, manage, train, and develop the Banqueting teamWhat are we looking for?
