Join LD Ninja Stays as a Handyman / Property Maintenance Specialist to help keep our short-let properties in excellent condition. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys ensuring that homes are always guest-ready.
About the Role:
As our Handyman, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the overall condition of our short-let properties across Lisbon. You will handle small repairs, paint walls, perform general maintenance, and manage regular upkeep tasks to ensure a high standard for our guests. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical skills and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
oPerform minor repairs, including fixing appliances, plumbing issues, and electrical fixtures.
oCarry out small carpentry tasks, such as furniture assembly and door repairs.
oTroubleshoot and resolve basic appliance issues (e.g., washing machines, stoves, heating units).
Routine Maintenance:
oDe-calcify coffee machines, replace fire extinguishers, and conduct pest prevention measures.
oClean dishwasher pipes and perform other routine maintenance to keep appliances in top condition.
oCoordinate with third-party suppliers for specialized maintenance tasks as needed.
Painting & Upkeep:
oPaint walls and touch up areas as needed to maintain a fresh appearance.
oPerform regular property inspections to identify areas that need attention.
oTake a proactive approach to maintaining the homes in good condition.
Guest Support:
oAssist with urgent repair requests to ensure a smooth guest experience.
oCoordinate with the guest experience team for any in-home repairs required during a guest stay.
Inventory & Supplies:
oMaintain an inventory of tools and materials.
oSource and purchase supplies as needed, within budget guidelines.
Who/What We’re Looking For:
oExperience: Proven experience in property maintenance, repairs, and painting.
oSkills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and appliance troubleshooting.
oPersonality: Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
oLanguages: Fluent in Portuguese, basic proficiency in English (preferred).
oMobility: Must be willing to travel across Lisbon using public transport.
