Scope This role will be accountable for developing and securing revenue and market share from existing customers and new business.
Also, improving business development processes for specific services and products with strong sales engagements.
Additionally, this role will be accountable to achieve the budgeted operating profit for the customer and to deliver cost savings to cover the overhead expense of this position.
Responsibilities:
Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP's), preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and responses.Prepare annual/mothly budgets and reports.
And achieve targeted budgets.Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.Capitalize on value creation opportunities by working closely with the sales and operations management team to develop creative workable solutions to customer needs.Provide support to the operations to ensure compliance of all SOP's and processesspecific to the customer and insure yearly target achievement.Manage, on behalf of the commercial owner, the most complex Service Parts Logistics solutions for customer on a day-to-day basis to ensure that performance targets are met.Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate the market.Facilitate regular meetings with clients and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance and receive updates from clients on challenges and future plans.Implementation of the key customer account plan for the year.Provide continuous improvement suggestions to the customers by analyzing existingsolutions and identifying & implementing service enhancements on an ongoing basis.Exemption TypeJob Requirements
Requirements +5 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation.Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyse situations and to make good decisions based on available information.Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.Experience or working within a matrixed environment.
