I'm currently recruiting for a a unique opportunity with a fast-growing tech company seeking a Datacenter Deployment Engineer to lead the design and deployment of large-scale GPU infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do:
Plan and organise physical deployments of IT equipment in datacenters
Design layouts for large-scale GPU infrastructure
Review and ensure compatibility of BOMs (Bill of Materials)
Adhere to datacenter environment maximums (power, cooling, weight)
Create structured cable designs and manage cable pathing
Configure firewalls, routers, and switches for initial use
Act as onsite subject matter expert during deployments
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent standards
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years professional experience within datacenter deployment experience
Advanced knowledge of structured and fibre cabling (AOC/DAC/Optics)
Strong understanding of network/server hardware
BOM creation and review
Familiarity with CMDB tooling (e.g., Netbox)
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Self-starter with process design experience and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
Python, Ansible
Experience with Infiniband fabrics, fat tree/rail-optimised designs
AI fabric diagnostics
The client will pay for relocation however only candidates within EU can be considered.
