We are looking for a .Net / SQL Developer and Business Analyst – Finance End User Solutions who is willing to relocate to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.About the Role:This role is part of a dynamic Finance team, supporting end-user computing tools with new technologies such as Python, DataIQ, and Power BI.
The role focuses on dashboarding, reporting, and simplifying complex finance-related processes and systems, contributing to a more streamlined architecture aligned with future strategic projects.As a Developer and Business Analyst, you will analyze requirements, develop solutions, improve tools and processes, and support stakeholders in optimizing and streamlining systems and workflows.Key Responsibilities:Problem Solving and Analysis:Analyze and implement new requirements from stakeholders in collaboration with Business Analysts.Perform technical analysis, assess alternatives, and document proposed solutions.Improvement and Development:Propose and implement improvements to tools, processes, and architecture.Enhance performance by reviewing and optimizing existing SQL applications and processes.Develop generic, reusable code and streamline workflows.User Support and Documentation:Provide user support for production issues and respond to queries.Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes and workflows.Train and guide users on new tools or processes and assist with changes as needed.Required Qualifications and Skills:Technical Expertise:Bachelor's or Master's in IT; knowledge of Finance is preferred.At least 6 years of experience in:SQL-server/Data Modelling/Tuning (queries, PL-SQL, SSIS, SSAS).Development experience in .Net (C#, WPF, Git).Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros) and MS Access knowledge.Experienced in creating complex SQL queries.Familiarity with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or DataIQ is a plus.Fluent in English (mandatory) and good spoken French.Key Strengths:Expertise in SQL and .Net development, with an ability to optimize processes and systems.Proficiency in analyzing and documenting complex workflows, with a focus on system improvement.Strong client-facing and collaboration skills, making you effective in supporting change initiatives.Why Join Us?Employment: Indefinite Contract from the start.Relocation Support: Great relocation package.Health Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for your well-being.Hybrid Work Model: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote.Continuous Learning: Access to a Udemy Business subscription with thousands of workshops and courses.Team Culture: Collaborative and innovative work environment.This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects that streamline Finance operations and improve tools for end users.
