We are looking for a Senior Project Procurement Buyer to support a growing project portfolio in Portugal across PV Solar, Wind, and BESS. In this role, you will manage local procurement activities (BoP contracts, electrical, civil, and mechanical works) while coordinating with Global Lead Buyers for critical equipment like wind turbines. If you have a strong background in EPC/O&M procurement, experience with multinational group structures, and a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, this opportunity is for you.
What we are looking for
Mandatory:
* Proven experience in EPC/O&M procurement within renewable energy projects.
* Track record in contract preparation, supplier negotiation, and full RFx management.
* Experience in multinational procurement structures and coordinating with Global Lead Buyers.
* Bilingual Portuguese/English; strong commercial acumen.
Nice to have:
* Familiarity with local Portuguese suppliers and contractors.
* Knowledge of legal frameworks for energy contracts in Iberia.
* Experience with SAP ERP and SAP Ariba.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as the single point of contact for project-level procurement across the full lifecycle.
* Translate project specifications into procurement strategies and manage RFx processes.
* Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts, coordinating with Legal, H&S, and Cybersecurity teams.
* Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and align with Global Lead Buyers.
* Select, qualify, and manage suppliers; monitor market trends, risks, and performance.
* Ensure compliance with Group Procurement Governance, ESG standards, and H&S practices.
* Operate SAP ERP and SAP Ariba, managing procurement data for reporting and project steering.
